Where Do I Park?
You can park anywhere around the building in the parking lot. The lot can fill quickly, so you may need to park in the gravel area behind the building. Please try to leave close spaces for those who may have difficulty walking.
There are two doors through which you can enter.
What Happens When I Arrive?
You will probably be greeted by someone at the door and given a church bulletin. If you are visiting, we have a gift bag of coffee for you! Need hot coffee or a doughnut? Stop by the Coffee Bar by the entrance doors to the right and help yourself before the service starts. Our greeters will be happy to help you find the right classroom or get seated in the auditorium.
What About the Kids?
We have classes available for children during all of our services. We love children and desire to see them know God and the Bible. As well, we value teaching them to honor their parents. Our classes and children's ministry personnel are ready to serve your children well!
What If I'm Early?
Keep the Coffee Bar in mind!
What are Your Worship Services Like?
Our services are designed to maximize the possibility of you hearing a message from the Bible in a way that you can walk away and immediately apply it in your life situation. Our music worship team lead us both at the beginning and end of the service in pieces that complement the message. Our primary concern is that God is honored in the way we worship Him through careful handling of the Bible text, great music and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Do You Embarrass Guests During the Service?
Not if we can help it! We generally don't point out our guests during the service, or ask them to stand up. What we do is ask guests to fill out a Visitor Information Card and to pick up a free package of Sonrise blend coffee before they leave. The information helps us keep track of where our visitors come from, what their needs are, and if they'd like to know more about the church. We may send you a letter to thank you for coming.
What About Babies?
We love babies! We have a very young church family and lots of babies in our church family. If you have small children, we welcome you to bring them. We have a great nursery facility and loving workers to both serve you and your baby. If you would like to keep your baby in the service, you are welcome to do that as well. There is a private nursing room for mothers with very young babies.
Do I Have to Put Money in the Offering Plate?
We do not receive a weekly offering through passing an "offering plate." We do receive a weekly offering though through an offering "box" on the back table at the back of the auditorium. Any guest is welcome to give to the church if they care to do so; however, we do not ask anything other than for you to enjoy the services with our church family.
What Happens on Sunday Nights?
A variety of meetings and opportunities are held on Sunday nights throughout the year, although there is not a weekly service. We typically call these gatherings Familiy Night. The frequency of our famiily nights vary. It is not uncommon to enjoy greeting new members, having baptisms, sharing communion, and enjoying a meal together at our family night gatherings. To say the least, we have fun enjoying each other.
