It is with joy I invite you to check out our web site and our church. The three most exciting things in my life are in order being a husband, a father and a pastor. It is especially fun being a pastor of such a friendly and loving church. I think your experience of our church will be the same.
One of our favorite expressions at church is: We love people...as is! No matter who you are, what your history is, where you are now in life, or your relationship with God, we care about you. The love of Christ compels us to not only desire a relationship with you but also to do anything we can to be a blessing to you or your family.
Life is messy, isn't it? Because of that, our church works primarily like a hospital where people who have messed up lives are welcomed and helped. We have two tools we primarily use in the process, the Bible and authentic relationships with each other. The Bible of course was given to us by God and is sufficient to iron out the details of life, work, family, literally anything. God did not leave us without answers for all the complexities in life. The other tool, authentic relationships, is the conduit through which God helps us better understand His answers for life through the Bible. So not only do we have God's answers for us in the Bible; we also have each other to dig them out and lovingly apply them in our lives. How exciting!
Sonrise is a fairly simple church. Our services are designed to help you connect with God through expository preaching and genuine worship. (And in the process, have some fun too!)
